1. About these terms
These Terms of Service and Sale govern use of darenz.in and orders placed with DARENZ. darenz.in is operated by Sotby LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India, with its registered office at WeWork Raheja Woods, Ground floor to 5th floor, Beside Cybage Building, Talera Park, Kalyani Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra 411006, India. By using the site or submitting an order, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy, the Shipping Policy and the Return and Refund Policy. Nothing here limits a right that cannot lawfully be limited under Indian consumer law.
2. Eligibility and information
You must be legally able to enter a contract. A parent or guardian must place an order for a person under 18. You are responsible for accurate contact, billing and delivery information and for protecting account credentials.
3. Products, measurements and imagery
Read the product description, material, care and size information before ordering. Size tables contain our own garment measurements in inches and the stated production tolerance. They are not body measurements or conversions from another retailer. Colours and textures may vary across displays, lighting and production. Editorial imagery may be digitally produced and does not replace the written product specification.
Unbranded accessories in campaign photographs are styling props and are not sold unless a separate DARENZ product page expressly says otherwise.
4. Prices, tax and availability
Prices are in Indian rupees and include applicable tax. Checkout shows the final amount, including delivery, COD fee and discount, before submission. Availability can change and an item in your slip is not reserved. Products marked Draft, Staging, Coming Soon or unavailable cannot be purchased.
5. Orders
Submitting an order is an offer to buy. An automated receipt confirms receipt, not final acceptance. DARENZ may perform payment, stock, address or fraud checks, including a confirmation call or WhatsApp message before dispatch, particularly for COD orders. We may decline or cancel for unavailable stock, failed payment, an unserviceable address, suspected fraud, promotion misuse, or a material product or pricing error. Any amount collected for a cancelled item will be refunded.
6. Payment
Available methods appear at checkout. Razorpay may process card and UPI transactions when enabled. Cash on delivery, where available, carries a separate ₹49 fee and may require verification. Refusing a confirmed COD order may restrict COD on later orders. Where offered, a partial online payment reduces the COD amount collected at delivery. Shopify supplies commerce infrastructure, and Releasit COD Fee may administer the COD charge when installed. Each provider may apply its own terms and privacy notice. DARENZ will never request a card PIN, CVV or one-time password by email, telephone or social media.
7. Delivery
DARENZ delivers within India. Standard delivery is ₹99 when the merchandise subtotal after discounts is below ₹1,999 and complimentary at ₹1,999 or more. The ₹49 COD fee remains separate. Estimated delivery is 3–7 business days after dispatch, subject to serviceability and events outside reasonable control. Risk passes on delivery to you or an authorised recipient. If a prepaid order cannot be delivered and is returned to us, re-shipping or return costs ₹200.
8. Cancellation, exchange and return
An order may be cancelled before it is dispatched by contacting Client Services. Once shipped it cannot be cancelled. A size issue, wrong item or damaged item may be raised for exchange within 48 hours of delivery, unused, unwashed and with tags and packaging intact. An exchange fee of ₹195–₹250 applies depending on location, covering reverse pickup and reshipping, except where DARENZ is at fault. Returns outside these categories, including a change of mind or a minor colour difference caused by lighting or screen settings, are not accepted. Where a return is approved by Client Services, a ₹200 handling and reverse-pickup fee applies. Approved refunds are initiated within 7–10 business days of inspection. Full terms are in the Return and Refund Policy, which controls over this summary if the two differ.
9. Acceptable use and intellectual property
Do not misuse the site, interfere with security or checkout, submit false details, transmit malicious code, scrape content at scale or attempt unauthorised transactions. DARENZ names, marks, campaign concepts, photographs, writing, graphics and original site elements are owned by or licensed to Sotby LLP and may not be commercially reproduced without written permission.
10. Liability and service availability
Products and services carry protections required by law. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted, DARENZ is not responsible for unforeseeable indirect loss or loss caused by misuse, ignored care instructions, inaccurate customer information or events outside reasonable control. Site access may be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons.
11. Governing law and concerns
These terms are governed by Indian law. Courts with lawful jurisdiction in Pune, Maharashtra may hear disputes, without limiting a consumer's right to use another legally available forum. Who this covers
This policy explains how Sotby LLP, operating as DARENZ (darenz.in), collects, uses, shares and protects personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act). Sotby LLP is the data fiduciary. Registered office: WeWork Raheja Woods, Ground floor to 5th floor, Beside Cybage Building, Talera Park, Kalyani Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra 411006, India.
What we collect
- Contact and delivery details, including your name, address, phone number and email address.
- Order and transaction data, including items bought, prices, order history, returns and exchanges.
- Payment data, handled directly by our payment processor, Razorpay and or Cashfree. DARENZ does not receive or store your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
- Communications, including messages you send through the contact form, email, phone or WhatsApp, including any order number, size or fit details you share.
- Device and usage data, including IP address, browser, and pages viewed, collected automatically through the site and cookies.
Why we collect it
To take and fulfil your order, arrange delivery and COD verification, process an exchange or refund, respond to a query or grievance, meet tax and accounting obligations, secure the site against fraud, and, only with your consent, send marketing by email or WhatsApp.
Consent and marketing
Where the DPDP Act requires consent, principally for marketing communication, we ask for it plainly, for example when you join the waitlist or newsletter, and you can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing support@darenz.in. Withdrawing consent does not affect an order already placed or a communication we are required to send you about it.
Who we share it with
Shopify, our platform and hosting provider; Razorpay and or Cashfree for payment processing; our courier partners for delivery and COD collection; Judge.me for product reviews, where used; and Meta and Google for site analytics and, where consented, advertising. Each processes data under its own terms and only for the purpose we have engaged it for. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are kept as long as applicable tax and consumer protection law requires. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Data tied to an open grievance is kept until it is resolved and for a reasonable period after.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may: access the personal data we hold about you; correct or update it; ask us to erase it, subject to what we must legally retain; withdraw consent; nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity; and raise a grievance about how your data has been handled. If unresolved, escalate to Yash Beherani, Grievance Officer, DARENZ, at the same address, or from there to the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies and tracking
The site uses essential cookies to run checkout and the slip, and, where enabled, analytics and advertising cookies, Meta Pixel and Google Analytics, to understand traffic and measure campaigns. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
Children
DARENZ is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from a child. If you believe a child's data has reached us without appropriate consent, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, consistent with the DPDP Act's requirements. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affecting you occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Where your data is processed
Our service providers, including Shopify, may process data on servers outside India. We only use providers permitted under the DPDP Act's cross border transfer rules.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law changes. The effective date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted here.
